Why this site exists
A working notebook for what I'm building, what I'm learning, and the design tradeoffs that don't fit in a commit message.
I’ve been meaning to write more for a long time. Most of what I learn at work and in graduate school gets compressed into commit messages, PR descriptions, and Slack threads — and then it evaporates. This is the place where the longer-form notes live.
Three rough beats I expect to write about:
- What I’m building. Agent platforms, LLM orchestration, RAG, evals. The kind of system-level decisions that are obvious in hindsight but cost weeks to figure out the first time.
- What I’m learning. Graduate coursework, papers, fine-tuning experiments, the occasional rabbit hole.
- What I’m getting wrong. The most valuable posts to read are usually the ones where someone admits a tradeoff didn’t pan out. I’ll try to do my share.
If you’re a recruiter or hiring manager, theprojects page is the better start. If you’re another engineer working on agents and evals, welcome — I’d love to hear what you’re building too.
