From .NET intern to GenAI platform engineer.

I’m a software engineer at Wells Fargo’s GenAI Platform Infrastructure team, where I build the production substrate that lets agentic AI run for 10,000+ users across five business use cases — policy, finance, investments, and more. The agents on the platform depend on MCP server integrations, multi-step reasoning, single- and multi-agent orchestration, tool-calling, and database connectivity. My job is to make all of that boring to ship.

I started in .NET and React as an intern at Sandhills Global, shipping production code across multiple releases for internal sales tools and customer-facing apps. The shift into GenAI happened during my final year at ASU — I’ve been compounding into LLM infrastructure ever since.

Outside the day job I keep my hands in the systems: I fine-tuned Llama 3.1 8B with QLoRA for an iRacing race strategist and built an eval harness that lifted its score from 29.7 to 78.5 while eliminating hallucinations. I built an autonomous shopping agent on AWS Bedrock with full Terraform infra. And I’m building a historical RAG engine over the 1912 Titanic inquiries that surfaces contradictions between witnesses instead of hiding them.

I’m an MS Computer Science student at Arizona State, finishing in December 2027. I write about what I’m building and learning on the blog, and review engineering books on the book reviews page.
